Gateway Software Symposium

10 Jan 2008

I just wanted to drop a quick note and mention that I will be speaking at the Gateway Software Symposium on March 7th-9th in St. Louis. It looks to be a fantastic line-up of speakers, as usual, and I’m certainly looking forward to learning a lot. The Gateway Software Symposium is of course, part of the No Fluff Just Stuff conference series, one of the most affordable ways to attend a conference and expand your skills. The web site was just opened today and early bird registration has begun, so now is the time to snap up one of the limited spots.

I’ll be speaking on a number of topics such as the collections API (and all the new additions in Java 5 and 6), concurrency idioms, design patterns, and of course Terracotta. I’m really excited about all of these topics and I’ll be working hard to put together some dynamic and interesting presentations.

It looks like I’ll also be speaking at the Seattle date in September and possibly one other show, although that is all subject to change. Should be a fun year!
