Welcome CloudCamp St. Louis!

23 Nov 2009

I’m happy to welcome CloudCamp to St. Louis!

CloudCamp is an unconference where early adopters of cloud computing technologies get together to share our experiences, challenges and solutions, and to network with one another. CloudCamps have served over 5,000 CloudCampers in more than 50 events all over world, in cities like Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bangalore, Berlin, London, New York, San Francisco, Stockholm and Singapore.

One of the primary themes of CloudCamp St. Louis 2009 is on software development and the cloud, and I’m looking forward to discussing issues like the impact of cloud computing on open source, how cloud changes the software development process, and how applications must change to fully take advantage of cloud computing.

I’ll be presenting a lightning talk about deploying Terracotta in the cloud. If you’re interested in presenting or would like to suggest session topics please contact Sam Charrington.

The event is totally free, and food and beer will be provided.

When: Thursday, December 10th, 6 pm to 10:15 pm

Where: Savvis, 1 Savvis Parkway, Town & Country, MO 63017
