I’ve been kicking this idea around for months but I got serious about it a few weeks ago and I have enough things in play that I can finally announce publicly a new developer conference in St. Louis:

The main piece of early news I can announce is that Alex Payne (al3x), API Lead for Twitter, will be providing the keynote presentation. Alex was literally my first choice to be the keynote speaker and he has been very gracious to accept when things are still forming.
You will notice that many details are still vague and fuzzy. I’m ramping up many different pieces of this conference at the same time so please check back often as things evolve.
